Writing may begin in solitude, but it deepens in conversation.
 

Every Friday from 6–8pm in Málaga, The Málaga Writers’ Circle gathers writers working in English for an evening of creativity, reflection, and thoughtful feedback. This is a welcoming space for writers who want not only to produce work, but to grow through dialogue with other attentive readers and thinkers.
 

We begin with 30 minutes of community connection. This opening time is for conversation, questions about craft, sharing creative challenges, and exploring the ideas that shape our writing lives. It is a moment to arrive fully, as both writers and humans.
 

The following 90 minutes are devoted to focused feedback and critique. Each week, two volunteer writers share a piece of their work with the group. Together we read carefully and offer constructive reflections that help strengthen the work while respecting each writer’s unique voice and vision.
 

The circle is designed to be supportive, thoughtful, and generative. Whether you write fiction, memoir, poetry, essays, or are simply exploring the page, you’ll find a space that values curiosity, courage, and careful listening.
 

Many writers discover that the right community becomes an essential part of their creative practice. The Málaga Writers’ Circle is intended to be exactly that: a place where ideas are nurtured, drafts evolve, and writers support one another in the long journey of making meaningful work.
